Terms & Conditions of Rental
You, the renter, will hereby be responsible for:
POST EVENT CLEANUP - Must be completed by 11:59pm the last evening of the scheduled event, to avoid possible next-day scheduling conflicts. Left-Over Event materials violating these Rules and that are determined to be property of the previous day’s rental party, or belonging to third-party providers in support of the event’s operation may be charged an an additional daily fee. If these conditions are unacceptable, please locate an alternative Venue for your event.
Leaving rental areas in the same or better condition than found.
Damages to property resulting from use.
Rule violations or acts committed by you or your guests while on park grounds.
Ensuring all event-specific decorations and trash are removed and properly disposed of prior to vacating the Park property.
Pre-event preparation will be allowed if possible. The Park will be opened upon request no earlier than 12:00 noon the previous day.
Payment of Rental Fee is to be made by Check, Money Order or Credit Card (Online Payments Are Now Accepted).
Annually recurring reservation fees must be paid in full by February of the rental year.
Hanging decorative lights and ornamentation by nails and staples is not allowed.
Reservations cancelled thirty (30) days in advance of the reservation date will receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled less than thirty (30) days, but fourteen (14) or more prior to the reservation date will receive a fifty percent (50%) refund. Reservations cancelled less than fourteen (14) days prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. If we can rebook your date(s) you will receive a full refund. Refunds will not be provided to guests that cancel their reservation, in anticipation of forecasted severe weather.
Members of your party involved in unacceptable behavior will be asked to leave immediately, or the rental will be terminated.
I have read and fully understand the agreement as it relates to my rental of Marietta Masonic Park. I agree to abide by said agreement and accept full responsibility to assure that my group and I comply. I understand that Marietta Masonic Park needs to be treated with due respect.
I also acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree on to the terms and conditions contained herein and attached hereto. Furthermore I acknowledge by agreeing to this that I assume responsibility for providing adequate supervision, facility cleanliness and general order while using the facility and that any damage and/or destruction of the above named property(s) will result in repair and/or replacement fees billed directly to me. Marietta Masonic Park reserves the right to exclude any group from future rentals of facilities based on violation of any of the prescribed rules.
* Facilities will be inspected before and after each reserved use. Violation of any of the facility rules and regulations could result in a minimum $50 PENALTY or the cost of additional maintenance, whichever is greater. *
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY AND ALL RENTALS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE MASONIC PARK BOARD.
The rental agent (Masonic Park Corporation) is not responsible or liable for any negligence implied or otherwise, or personal injury, or death, or property loss, caused directly or indirectly in the use of the rented Property/Facilities/Equipment. I confirm that I have read this agreement and voluntarily assume all risks of any damages occurring in connection with Masonic Park Corporation’s Property/Facilities/Equipment for myself and all members of my party during the duration of my rental. I hereby agree for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, to waive release and discharge Masonic Park Corporation and their rental agents, servants, employees, agents, officers, directors, or representatives for any and all liability for any property damage, loss, personal injury, loss of life and/or other casualty which may occur during the course of this rental and the use of the Masonic Park Corporation’s Property/Facilities/Equipment. It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, and assigns in the event of any death or injury.
Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Masonic Park Corporation and its agents, harmless from any claims, liabilities (including negligence, tort and strict liabilities), expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from or resulting from the manufacture, possession, condition, use, operation, handling, transportation or return of Masonic Park Corporation’s Property/Facilities/Equipment.
