Message from WM of Harmar Lodge 390

Brethren and Ladies,

The February stated meeting for Harmar No. 390 was held virtually due to members being sick or exposed to COVID and were quarantining. This was a new experience for all of the membership that were present for the meeting. We opened the meeting as if we were in a lodge setting with a few changes. I feel that we did an outstanding job for our first time doing this. We accomplished a lot of business in the meeting.

We read eleven petitions for new candidates that wish to join our great fraternity. These men will be voted on at our next regular stated meeting in March. They will be able to attend the Ohio Grand Master’s one day class that the 17th Masonic District will be putting on at Paramuthia Lodge in Athens on March 26th.

We will be doing our lodge inspection on Monday, March 28th in the Entered Apprentice degree. We will be having fellowship at 6 pm and the inspection will begin at 7 pm with Marietta Commandery No. 50 KT presenting the colors. We will be having practices at 7 pm at the temple on the following days; February 16, March 9, 16, and 23rd.

There will be a Masonic Park meeting on February 22nd at 6 pm in the temple dining hall. All members of Harmar No. 390 are invited and encouraged to attend. This park belongs to you and the success of it depends on every member.

There will also be a Masonic Bodies Website meeting the next day, February 23rd at 6 pm in the temple dining hall to discuss the new Mariettamason.com. The Website is a tool for every member of our lodge and I encourage you to attend this meeting. We will be having a Special meeting on March 2nd at 7 pm to read any additional petitions. We are still asking that everyone wear a mask and to social distance if possible.

Fraternally Yours,

Randy “Pappy” Waggoner

Worshipful Master
